Hi.
For those of you who don't know me, my name is Nate, and I mostly write code. I co-founded an Open Source PHP framework project (hasn't everyone?) called Lithium. Prior to that, I was the lead developer of another PHP framework that involved puns about pastry. Prior to that, I was a nobody with a home-grown framework that had XML in it. Gag. You live and learn.
I've decided to start blogging again, thanks in no small part to the persistent prodding of my friend Chris. While we're rolling the credits, I'd also like to recognize my friend Josh for pulling together this blog design, so I could hide the shame of my failure as an artist. Surprisingly, when it comes to design, I'm not even a good client. Needless to say, he's the only reason any of this looks good.
I'm going to try to use this as a way to document my experiences developing Lithium, and working on an app that I can't talk about, for a company that doesn't officially exist yet.
Also, you'll notice there are no comments here. It's not that I don't care about what you have to say, it's just that I'm trying something different and it's not done yet. So, stay tuned, and I'll try to keep it interesting.
